There are so many different sorts of mail now. Not long ago mail meant that you got a message written on paper, enclosed in an envelope and delivered by a postman. This postman walked from house to house, twice a day and put the letter in your mail box. If you sent a letter, you would place it in the post office’s box and your letter would get to required destination. You would then wait for a few days to get a reply.

With the increase use of email, we have decided to dub this form of mail as “snail mail” What constitutes snail mail? There is “junk mail” which is from advertisers telling you what they want you to buy. There are those nasty “bills” that scare me when we haven’t got the money to pay them. At special times like Christmas or for a wedding the occasional card might arrive.
Most correspondence today is done through cyber space, email. It’s faster, more efficient and allows a response to be made instantly as long as the internet service is working properly. As a result, the traditional mail now takes even longer because their services have been down sized due to smaller demand which is why it’s been dubbed “Snail Mail”.
When I send a request out to my Lord, all I have to do is ask, simply and quietly and He hears me. He may take time to give me an answer but that answer will be perfect for me when it comes “But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him”.
