In My Bag
I carry with me a bag containing many vitamins and minerals. Over many years I have discovered that my body needs extra help to stay healthy. I have to admit though that I often got very slack about how seriously I took this assistance. If I felt well I would forget to take them until I was diagnosed with Diabetes.
After weeks of tears and being frustrated with the lack of progress I was gradually put back on these minerals and vitamins to help my health. It was through this professional help, so please do not try this alone, that I have been able to enjoy a much better lifestyle for the last eight years. I believe that this assistance has saved my life.
No one can save their own life. If we get sick or injured we need the assistance of a doctor, nurse or medical professional to help us. Even on occasions when I have been able to come up with a solution to a problem without the help of professionals it has still required a great amount of prayer to come up with an answer.
In John 14:6 we read “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Which tells me that if I want to live in heaven after my time here on earth is finished I will be only able to get there with the assistance of Jesus Christ. It will not matter how hard I work, how good I am or how closely I follow the law of God I cannot get into heaven. I must come to Jesus and ask Him to forgive me and He can because He died on the cross for that very reason.
