Something White

I’m cheating a little today. I only drink white tea or soda water. So today something white is my white tea that I had when I was able to share some time with a friend. It may not seem to be special to you but for the two of us this was special. She lives on one side of town and I live on the other. So for weeks now we have been planning this event. Each time we set a date things went wrong, either she got sick, or I did.

So you may think that today’s plan finally worked but you would be wrong. You see today neither of us was planning on going to town. I only went to town because I decided that I want some craft supplies. When I was getting in the car I remembered that I had some old medical supplies that needed to be taken to our Chemist. They had only been in the car for a week! As I walked into the Chemist my friend was there talking but I didn’t interrupt them. Walking out I commented to God that if we were to have that cuppa today than it would be up to Him to arrange it.

As I walked back past the Chemist from another store I almost expected to meet them walking out the door but no there was no sign of my friend. I crossed the street and was getting into my car when my friend emerged from the shop. I watched to see where she was going and soon realised that I had parked my car right next to hers. I waited and we had that cuppa.
