Zen
Quietness, meditation, relaxation and calmness seem to be the requirements of Zen. Well, I am a farmer’s wife with five children, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Apart from my husband they do not live permanently under my roof but there is still a lot of busyness in my life. Some times finding time to mediate, relax and pray can be very difficult. I know I have mentioned this before and I am not sorry that I need to repeat it but apart from the last thing at night the best times I have to do these things are when I am washing up or gardening. These are the times when I can be fairly sure that I will be left alone. I use take these opportunities to talk to my Lord and friend about my earthly friends who I know are struggling. I also ask Him to bless those who have taken the trouble to purchase my book.
“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Psalm1:1-3
