My Easter egg is empty! The cross is empty! The tomb of Jesus is empty! One day all graves will be empty! How can this be? Christ died for me and rose again!Egg

He went through all the pain and agony just so eternal life could be available to anyone who comes to Him and accepts the gift of His sacrifice.

As we watch the news we can see that many have to go through the pain of death, some even on crosses because they are Christians. Yet we know that death will not be able to hold them bound, death is not the end. It is only a doorway to a new eternal life with Jesus Christ in Heaven.

The courage that they show during their time of trial is also through the power of Christ. His strength is what sees them through and yes when they come to Judgement Day, Jesus will lead them by the hand to the throne of God and say, “Father, this is my friend ……, I died for them”.

“Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.” Revelation 7:15-17

Yes, Jesus is alive and He loves each one of us but if we don’t accept his grace then when it comes to Judgement Day we will be standing before God with no one to intercede for us.

New life comes through an empty grave.
