In My Bedroom

PIC_1180.JPG

My bedroom is my closet. “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hastshut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.” Matthew 6:6. This is where I can be quiet; our house is still very noisy even though the kids have left home. It is also where I write, work and share fellowship with my friends on Facebook. It is also where I sleep. Phone calls are made in this room because it is quiet.

It is where I talk to my Father in Heaven, first thing in the morning and last thing at night as I fall off to sleep. It has always been a place where I have been able to talk to my children and where we have had those serious discussions that need to be done. Yes there are times when I allow the world to invade my silence. The tv has a way of doing that. Yes in my bedroom I sleep, eat, write, talk, dream, plan, work and pray but I always try to do it all with the Lord at my side.

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Colossians 3:23
