I Walked Here
Today I was able to spend time with some friends, face to face. We shared morning tea, lunch and fellowship and it was good.
In my first book I talk a lot about stepping out in faith and there were a lot of references to that subject again today. So, I had to take some steps in faith today as I accepted the responsibility for Presbytery Group Representative. It amazes me how so many times in life, once you take a step; you suddenly start to feel inadequate for the position. On a purely practical basis I should not have even considered putting my hand up for this but the organisation is something that I am passionate about. Vertigo attacks make a commitment of this sort hard for me as travelling to distance towns and functions is a little difficult. So stepping out here in faith is not just about being able to do the job but also about being able to get to places and having someone to travel with me.
It is hard to see how today’s post relates to my theme for this week but I was able to share with a few people about my new book and I’m hoping that this particular position will give me new opportunities to not only share with people about, Turning Water into Wine, More Water into Wine but also about my love for my Lord and King and His love for everyone around me.
We are told in Matthew 28:19 to “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” and sometimes that whole world is very close to home. So today I walked down the aisle on this runner to receive my badge.
