I Found This...
“Grandma I found this car” the voice of my grandson breaks into my writing. He held out his hand and in his palm was the smallest car I have ever seen. It was such a small thing that it was no wonder that it had got lost in the first place. I’m surprised that it was even found. It reminded of some thoughts that I was having in the early hours of this morning. I was thinking about how small the cells are in our bodies and how they fit together to make us a whole person. Each cell has a different function and yet if we took it out of the body it would die and never work again.
This led me to thinking just how small we are, each of us, in the body of Christ. We are only one person, one in all those people that had faith in God from the beginning of time, one in all those people that had faith in God from the beginning of time. Yet, no matter how small we feel and how insignificant we feel God knows and loves us and will teach us in the unique way that He knows we will learn best. There will be times when we will feel lost and overwhelmed by the circumstances that we find ourselves in. Just like that small car that my grandson found we will be found by God and loved just as much as the person who is next to us as we drive along the road of life. “So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.” Romans 12:5
So often when I am struggling to understand where my life plan is going I need to remember each cell is loved by my Heavenly Father.
