Orange

PIC_1268.JPG

As I wandered around Sydney recently I noticed particularly at the Railway Stations that they were using Orange for their logo and safety jackets. It stood out for two reasons; one, it was different and two, because it was bright.

I’m told that when my grandfather, who grew up in the Christian home, made his own commitment to Christ the world seemed to be a much brighter place to be. While I understand it would not be an experience that everyone would have it is nice to know that it is for some.

One day we will all notice a new world because it too will be different and bright. “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new…” Revelation 21:1-5

Yes the orange stands out to help us recognise where there might be danger and where we need to be careful. When we read the Bible we are still able to see where we need to be careful in our lives here on earth as well as what we will see in Heaven.
