Signed, Sealed, Delivered
As I thought about this heading I wondered how I was going to be able to come up with something to write about. However, as I was on the train for most of the day and then on a bus for the last 3 hours of my trip home, I realised that the bus is signed, the roads are sealed and I was delivered home safe and sound.
If I want to relate this to my life’s journey there was a time when Jesus signed my name into the book of life. “Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:20 He sealed my salvation with His blood on the cross. “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,” Ephesians 1:13 and one day I will be delivered home to heaven “And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.” 1 Thessalonians 1:10
In the meantime I can be grateful for all the times that the trains and buses keep me safe all the way from where I have been to where I am going and home again.
