Minimalistic

This has to do with keeping things basic and simple. This is a great way to live if you can. After all it allows us to be environmentally friendly, saves us money, reduces our workloads and gives us time to spend with our loved ones. In our current social structure in the Western world it could seem like a pipe dream. There are of course many countries where there are not many if any material trappings and yet the people and particularly the children are able to be happy playing with whatever they happen to have on hand.
Jesus also liked to keep things simple. After all he didn’t own property or many material goods. “And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.” Matthew 8:19-20.
Even when we preach the word of God it is important to keep things simple and minimalistic that way there is no room for confusion. Jesus wants us to be able to preach the word in a manner that even children are able to understand the extent of His love, care and plans for their lives. If we complicate what we say or do, we leave ourselves open to misinterpretation and this will make it easier for those we are trying to teach to be led astray.
“And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. This doesn’t mean that we need to talk down to people for them to understand the gospel but we do need to keep it real and simple.
