Inside My Fridge

DSCF1129_edited.JPG

If you were to open my fridge door and took a look inside, you would find a variety of foods and treats. There are days when you would find things that shouldn’t be there. Maybe I’d been very busy for a while and I hadn’t managed to clean it out yet. (Here is a warning - don’t look at the use by dates of food in my freezer).

Now what is my fridge going to teach me about life. We were all like to keep things locked away from the rest of the world. Just as the fridge keeps my food at a safe temperature, in many cases not exposing everything to the world, is very necessary in order to preserve myself. Yes, some of those things will be off and really should be tossed out but God will do that in His own good time. “Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.” (Psalm 38:9). After all He is the one that is in control of my life.

If you were able to see the things hidden in my life you will find that there is a great variety of thing stashed away. They have been a result of the very different experiences, people, trials and joys that have been part of my life. However I know that God see all those things that I don’t want to show to the world because nothing is hidden from Him. “For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.” Luke 8:17.

No, you will not see what is in my fridge or all that is in my life. Both are working well and in the hands of the Lord to keep going.
