Rainbow
The rainbow represents the promise by God to not destroy the world by a flood as He did in the days of Noah. (Genesis 6:9-9:17).When I look in the sky I don’t often get to see a full rainbow. More often than not I see only part of the arch across the sky. The other day I saw a very unusual rainbow and my first thought was: Sometimes you have to hang on to the small part of the promise that you can see and use faith for the rest.
There are times in life when we find ourselves bombarded with so many problems that it can be very easy to feel weighed down and overcome. Yet, God has a promise for each situation and each trial but in the midst of all that we are dealing with it is hard to find any hope.
Hang on to the smallest promise, verse or phase and grip it with all you might and slowly you will find the rest of the answers that God has for you because the rest of the rainbow does exist.
