Do you let God sleep in on Monday?

It’s Sunday and I know that I am going to Church. I prepare myself with a conversation with my Lord. I thank Him for bringing me safely through the week. I worship Him along with those other members sitting in the pews.

Yet, as I listen to the news through the week I have to wonder about how many of those people making headlines and doing the things that make our lives so hard were actually sitting in a church somewhere on Sunday. I would like to ask them if they even take God to work with them on Monday. As I pondered this one night, the thought crossed my mind, “Do we let God sleep in on Monday” do we ignore what impact He wants to have on our lives and particularly our work situations.

“Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Prayer: Lord, please come with me every day and help me to consult you in all the decisions I make.
