Help, Lord I need more....

As the hot dry weather turns our farm feed to dust, I am becoming very aware that we need another source of income that is not so dependent on the weather. We cannot depend on Government handouts to sustain us forever. I want to be independent. I start asking God about what we can do.

The first response I get is that my book sales are not dependent on weather, so you already have another source. However, Lord I shoot back, they are not selling enough to make any difference. Everyone knows that you don’t make money from writing.

As I was trying to sleep that night and still thinking about the question God also nudged and said you also have another source of income, one that is very different to dollars and cents, you have to exercise your faith in Me.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight:” 2 Corinthians 5:7

Prayer: Lord, I know that you know all the things that I need, I have to exercise my faith more and more.
