Time Control

It was another day of long to do lists and interruptions which meant that I was going to forget to do something if I wasn’t careful. As I returned to the house after another “extra” job, I prayed: “Lord, you are the God of time and therefore you are the creator of my timetable. Please help me to do and get to things on time, I hand control over to you”.

This was the only way I was going to get through the day. I knew from previous experience that if I tried to rush around in a panic I would end up messing up badly. This is something that I had to learn when I had five children at home and at one stage had them in five different schools.

“And He said to His disciples, “For this reason I say to you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on……….. “But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You men of little faith!” Luke 12:22,28.

Prayer: Lord, I thank you for keeping me calm and allowing me to get all those important things done.
