Be Brave

I was humbled as a young Christian woman and I discussed the decisions that she had made during a time of ill health. She had decided not to wait until her health improved to do the things that she wanted to do. Had she waited, she would not have got married, had any children, started her own business or anything else, so she had made a deliberate decision to live her life the way she wanted to, despite her health.

As I continued to think about this young woman later I realised just how sensible she was and how silly it was of me to expect her to get her health sorted first.

So many people will tell you that they will look after their spiritual lives when they have more time or when they have their business sorted, even they have become better people to name just a few.

Yet, we know that they need to come to Jesus now and deal with it now because they never know when God will call them home. Jesus wants us to come to Him today, He doesn’t want us to wait until later, He will help us to live for Him regardless of the state of our spiritual health issues. He doesn’t want us to wait, He wants us to get on with life and live it for Him from today, now.

“.....behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2b.

Prayer: Lord, help me to move forward regardless of the many obstacles I think may be in front of me.
