Feeling Uncomfortable - Glass 338

One of the problems I have with sitting comfortably in front of the heater during winter, is that I find it hard to move. I watch the wood burn down, I know that I have to get up and put more wood on it to keep it burning properly and I just don’t feel like going out into the cold bleak weather to fetch the wood.

I have to wonder if that is not a problem that many Christians face. Are they just so comfortable in the way they are living that they don’t want to face the cruel, sad world of sin outside their church life.

“And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.” Luke 14:23.

It’s not comfortable out there in the real world but that is where the Lord wants us to be.

Prayer: Lord, please help me to walk out into the real world instead of staying comfortable in front of my heater.
