Burning Together

On a cold morning I was sitting in front of my heater. It was going but not giving out as much heat as I would have liked. It had two logs in it but they were burning separately. They should have been providing a lot of heat for the house. However, I opened the door and pushed them together and surprise, surprise they started to burn faster and hotter.

It reminded me of the verse in Hebrews 10:25 “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” We burn better, faster and therefore make a greater difference when we work together with those who have similar passions and goals.

Prayer: Lord, please show me who you want me to work with today to spread your message around the world.
