God is listening

I was sitting in church one morning and the minister had a balloon that went straight to the ceiling when he let it go. As I watched it float upwards I thought about how our prayers go up to Heaven and Jesus hears them. There was one big difference however, and that was that once the balloon reached the ceiling it stopped. I am grateful that nothing, absolutely nothing will stop my prayers from being heard by God the Father.

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow--not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love.” Romans 8:38.

When you love someone you listen to very carefully, and God hears everything that we say, think and feel because He loves us that much. Of course there will be times when we think that He isn’t there but He is, there is nothing that will stop Him listening to us.
