Salty

When we were children we had no idea what a salt grinder was. We just poured or shook a container that contained salt already ground finely. These days we use the grinder, I think and I could be imagining it, but the salt is saltier.

“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt has lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.” Matthew 5:13.

As I thought about us a Christians, I realised that we are put through a grinder, hard and tough circumstances, so we can be effective for Christ. Going through those situations helps us relate to others and able to help them.
