Hating Something

I was telling God how much I hated something. I complained about how the people around me just didn’t understand the extent of that hate. They think that eventually I will come to like it, or even love it, given enough time. It is just not the case.
A voice in my head answered back with, “People don’t get how much I hate sin either”. We do think that if we ignore it, or cover it up that God won’t see it. Some people think, God will accept the people He made because He loves them all. What we don’t get is that God really hates sin. Not, just the ones we consider bad ones such as murder, stealing or adultery but also those little ones that we like to ignore. There are many verses in Proverbs, telling us how many sins God hates.
There are people out there dying every day because of sin. They are facing eternity in Hell because they have no idea how much God hates sin. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23).

Yet, we think that it isn’t important to tell those poor souls what they need to know. We don’t realise how urgent it is to tell people the truth.
“Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.” Luke 10:2.
Let us tell others about the love of God urgently.
