A Wall 2 Corinthians 5:17-21
One of my current projects is trying to restore this wall to its former glory. You could say that I am trying to make it look new again. I love the look of timber and this is what I want to achieve here. As I struggle to do this bit by painful bit, I am reminded of what a struggle God has restoring me.
Yes, I know that if I am in Him I am already a new creature in Him (verse 17) but there is work that has to be done to remove all those layers of sins and bad habits that are hiding my true potential. They are also hiding His beauty and glory that He wants others to see through me.
While I can only dream of the finished results, I am also aware that I am unlikely to accomplish my vision. That is also a bit like God working on my life. He will still be removing stuff when I walk from this world to my eternal destination. Though I can be thankful that once I do He will have finished while my family will most likely have to continue this job after I am gone.
